ISHA 2023 Roy-Somiya Award 
ISHA 2023 Best Ph. D. Thesis Award 
ISHA 2023 Lifetime Award 

According to the ISHA award selection committees, we are honoured to open the site for the registration of all the participants that complete the eligibility requirements for applying to the Roy-Somiya, the Ph D best thesis and lifetime awards. The participants of the ISHA 2023 can submit their application to each award evaluating committee his/her best convenience. The awards winner call will take place during the conference. 

 

General requirements: 
  • Individual applications for each award should be submitted before the deadline on July 15th, 2023. 
  • The Committees will review the applications by ISHA 2023 meeting and publish in the website. 
  • Submit the proposal to isha2023@uva.es 

Roy-Somiya Award 

The Committee of the Roy-Somiya Award calls for applications under the following mandatory requirements: 

  • An individual can nominate themselves. 
  • The age limit for this award is 45 years old at the time of 1st September 2023, applicants under this age are eligible for applying for this award. 
  • Nomination statement of the nominates relevant scientific and/or technological contributions in the solvothermal and/or hydrothermal research fields. 
  • The CV of the candidate. 
  • Copies of the candidate’s top 3 papers (PDF files) in peer-reviewed journals and/or corporate licensing of the technology, whether patented or not. 
NOMINATE

Best Ph. D. Thesis Award 

The Committee of the Best Ph. D. Thesis Award calls for applications under the following mandatory requirements: 

  • An individual can nominate themselves. 
  • Ph. D. dissertation summary (1000 words) highlighting the relevance of the research work to the solvothermal and/or hydrothermal processing research fields. 
  • Ph. D. supervisor’s letter statement for recommending the dissertation for evaluation to the committee. 
  • The CV of the candidate. 
  • Copies of the relevant research work derived from the nominate Ph. D. research work for introducing the Ph. D. thesis work. 
NOMINATE

Lifetime Award 

The Committee of the Lifetime Award calls for applications under the following mandatory requirements:  

  • An individual can nominate themselves. 
  • No age limit applies, but reputation and longtime achievements in the solvothermal or hydrothermal research fields are highly required. 
  • The application statement of the nominate emphasizing their relevant scientific and technological contributions in the solvothermal and hydrothermal research fields will be evaluated. 
  • The candidate CV. 
  • Copy of the candidate’s 3 top papers (PDF files) in peer-reviewed journals and corporate licensing of the technology, whether patented or not, should be submitted for evaluation proposes.
